Erica is a business development professional with 20+ years experience helping organizations apply data to solve complex problems. She has a passion for projects that help to make the world a better place.
Erica works with clients in the public/non-profit sector both domestically and internationally. Working closely with clients in US Health & Human Services, she helped them apply Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to address public health issues like the opioid crisis, health equity and COVID-19 response.
Erica spent 2 years working in Nigeria on global development projects; including helping youth to enter aquaculture farming and assisting Female Sex Workers to start small businesses.
A civic-minded woman, Erica is an activist, a co-founder and Board Member of Northstar of GIS, and she also sits on the Board of Directors of Black Arts Los Angeles (BALA).
